Ukrainian soldiers happy with fast and accurate Swedish Archer howitzer

Ukrainian soldiers fighting Russian forces on Saturday (December 17) in the eastern Donetsk region praised their Swedish-made self-propelled howitzer. The howitzer could be quickly deployed, is accurate, reliable and can fire 21 shots in less than three minutes, according to Ruslan, Ukrainian artilleryman operating on Archer. Sweden’s Ministry of Defence says eight of the Archer self-propelled howitzers were provided to Ukraine earlier this year. Kyiv largely relies on Western military aid as its troops clash with Russian forces.
