Javier Milei Sworn in as President of Argentina

Javier Milei was sworn in as the President of Argentina in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on December 10. Video of the event was streamed live by Argentina’s senate, Senado Argentina. The event was attended by foreign dignitaries such as President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine, Prime Minister Viktor Orban of Hungary, former President Jair Bolsonaro of Brazil, King Felipe VI of Spain, and others. Milei’s first decree as president, issued on Sunday, was to reduce the number of ministries from 19 to 9, local reports said.
