‘Kicked off’: Argentina’s President Javier Milei now ‘getting rid of bureaucracies’
Sky News host Rowan Dean says recently elected Argentinian President Javier Milei has “kicked off” his promises by ridding the government of bureaucracies.
Milei, a libertarian economist, succeeded the Peronist leader Alberto Fernandez, whose government was dogged by failures to curb rampant inflation that is currently hurtling towards 200 per cent.
“Javier Milei … he’s already kicked off, literally getting rid of bureaucracies,” Mr Dean said.
“Getting rid of ministries, he’s doing it, he said he would beforehand, he showed us how he would do it and he is doing it which is fantastic.
“Peter Dutton take note that’s how you win elections.”
