Issue 21: Omoplata From Spider Guard w/ Michael Langhi.

Michael Langhi is currently ranked as the #2 lightweight in IBJJF. He is known for his flexibility and impassable guard. Michael showed us a few tricks that he readily uses that can be implemented into anyone’s game. Here he demonstrates how to set up, secure, and tap your opponent out with an omoplata starting from the spider guard. You can see that since Michael maintains his grip on the sleeve for a majority of the move he is able to transition to the omoplata easier. Check out more in issue #21. S
