These signals are transported via two cables to the actual Yamaha EAD10 module, where they can be processed and mixed with effects and wave samples. Thanks to differentiated frequency separation, each drum can be processed individually, and even the cymbals can be assigned effects. In addition, up to 6 mono triggers and an additional foot switch can be connected in three stereo sockets. An external sound source can be connected via an AUX IN (3.5 mm) and mixed to the signals of the EAD10. In just a few minutes, a professionally recorded soundtrack is arranged, which is either sent to a sound system in live use via the direct outs or transmitted via USB to a smartphone or laptop. Numerous samples and versatile software concept The Yamaha EAD10 757 module provides the drummer with high-quality wave samples that can be used flexibly in 50 presets or 200 user kits. Furthermore, 32 MB internal memory is available, so you can use your own samples. Thanks to the USB connection, the module can also be used with any DAW, which is particularly interesting for drummers who want to record their own small demos or even for professional music productions. The free IOS Rec’n-Share app makes it possible to record the performance with the iPhone and then synchronize it with the audio track of the EAD10. Thus professional drum covers or instructive drum tutorials are produced in no time and uploaded to YouTube or Facebook. To learn and rehearse songs, the music in the app can be played at different speeds and provided with an automatically generated click track.
