Mohan Lal Lohar and the double flute

Mohan Lal Lohar is a master craftsman of folk instruments like the morchang (Jew’s harp), algoza, satara and khartals. A blacksmith by trade, he has also mastered the art of carving wood to create fine musical instruments. Mohan Lal is an accomplished musician in his own right, as seen in this video of him playing the double flute from the Thar region of India (called a satara).
