The way his Sword Formations work now is based on when you press Shoot after his Melee string. Melee X1 - Shoot = Storm Swords Melee X2 - Shoot = Heavy Rain Trick - Shoot = Blistering Swords Hold Shoot = Spiral Swords (affectionately known as Blue tutu of death). This also applies in the air so you can Aerial Rave X1 - Shoot (Sword Storm), Air Trick - Shoot (Blistering Swords), Aerial Rave X2 - Shoot (Heavy Rain), then finish with Aerial Cleave like in the last combo of the video.
