In addition to everyday borscht, festive borscht was widespread in Ukrainian food culture. Among them - Green Borscht, prepared in chicken broth, with the addition of a large number of different greens (without cabbage), which at this time in abundance - dill, parsley, sorrel, nettle, young beetroot. The peculiarity of this borscht is that at the end of its preparation boiled eggs are added and seasoned with raw eggs beaten with sour cream.
Ethno-Estate “Lyalyna Svitlytsia“ is a well-known center for preserving and popularizing the traditions of Ukrainians, in particular gastronomic ones (only borscht in pots can be prepared here more than 365 varieties).
