#VisitRussia ? The Curonian Spit is one of the most unique places in the Kaliningrad region and in all of Russia. This strip of sandy land stretches for a 98-kilometer piece of land, making it one of the longest spits in the world. It extends from southwestern Lithuania to the Sambian Peninsula in Kaliningrad, passing through the Baltic Sea. The stretch is covered with sand dunes and pine forests. One of the most interesting places and bizarre one is the Dancing Forest, a pine forest known for its unusually twisted trees. While in these places, it is definitely worth visiting the museum complex, the walking route “From Rossitten to Rybachy,“ the ecological route Korolevsky Bor, the village of Lesnoy, the ornithological station “Fringilla,“ and Lake Lebed.
