Motorised rifle units from Moscow Military District complete training on infantry fighting vehicle with increased firepower The servicemen of the Moscow MD’s motorised rifle units commenced the final stage of training to operate the BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicle equipped with the Berezhok combat module. The units equipped with the combat vehicles of previous modifications were involved in the training with the infantry fighting vehicles with the Berezhok combat module. The servicemen point out simplicity and high technological level of the modern combat vehicle, increased firepower and field of view achieved due to introduction of cameras and overview screens. The Berezhok combat module is a turret with the weaponry and fire control means designed to modernise light-armoured vehicles, such as infantry fighting vehicles, issued for the armoured vehicles of Russian and foreign production of infantry fighting vehicle, armoured fighting vehicle, and airborne assault vehicle type.
