Coffee grinder torso - Restoration

Today we renovated a found torso of a wall-mounted coffee grinder. The ceramic hopper and the bottom glass container for ground coffee were missing. Coffee grinders have been linked since the beginning of the history of drinking and preparing coffee. Europeans have known this drink since the 17th century. In the Czech Republic, the Ouhrabková brothers started producing coffee grinders in 1923. The family business was then continued by their grandsons and in 19991 they founded the company LODOS . and their retro grinders could be found in many a Czech household. Today, coffee is already an everyday drink for most of us, which we have come to love for its distinctive taste and aroma. And that’s all for today.
