Telemann - Sonata in D Major (mvt. 1) for unaccompanied viola da gamba - Steuart Pincombe

Steuart Pincombe plays Telemann’s sonata in D major for unaccompanied viola da gamba. Performed on Tuesday, February 9th at 8pm in Fairchild Chapel in Oberlin, OH. Video of other pieces on the concert will be uploaded soon. Steuart Pincombe, a strong advocate of both historical performance and new music, is in the process of finishing an M.M. in viola da gamba and baroque cello at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music in Ohio, and is focused on engaging audiences’ minds in addressing the aesthetic value of art through lectures and performances across the country. He is currently a baroque cellist in Apollo’s Fire and modern cellist of the Credo Trio.
