Pillars of Cacophony (Austria) — Parerga — 2021 full length

The debut of this Austrian solo project, from Dominik (Seduced) with collaboration of Georg and (Violență Domestică). The music is woven in a mix of death and black metal elements always with a bitter dissonante taste over a quite a clear production. Most of the album fluctuates between softer atmospheric passages and faster and thunderous ones where the vocals’ abilities are tested to the max and drum plays an incredible part as well. But of course the music is driven , most entirely by the guitar. Undoubtedly was done an incredible work crafting the various guitar layers of this dissonant mastery. Not only has this an exquisite songwriting work but the lyrics go to another level. A concept album about the smallest units required to form life, pathophysiological processes, to the pits of despair and agony that hormone driven beings are prone to fall into.
