Painting a Master Study from John Singer Sargent 🌹Carnation, Lily, Lily, Rose

I’m painting a Master Study from John Singer Sargent, called Carnation, Lily, Lily, Rose. I’ll be creating this Master Study by using my van Gogh Oil paint. John Singer Sargent is one of my favorite painters, and especially this magical painting has caught my eye for a very long time. Creating Master studies is very important in my journey to become a better artist. It was very interesting to recreate a painting that was originally made in a moment of twilight. Because I want to create this study from a picture in a book, I will make a small version of the original painting. I’ll also take you with me to the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, where you can see famous artwork from Vincent van Gogh, Johannes Vermeer and Rembrandt van Rijn. I hope you“ll enjoy my video.
