GAME RECAP: Penguins vs. Wild () | Kasperi Kapanen’s Hat Trick

After a big overtime win against their cross-state rivals, the Penguins set their sights on Minnesota. This would be the final game of Pittsburgh’s franchise-record eight-game homestand before the team would head off on the road again. Kaprizov opened the scoring for Minnesota. Kasperi Kapanen, however, had the answer. Kapanen scored the next two goals, giving Pittsburgh a 2-1 lead heading into the 2nd period.
