GAME RECAP: Penguins vs. Blackhawks () | Jeff Carter Scores Two

Following a disappointing shootout loss at home to Minnesota, the Penguins headed to the road for the first time since their second game of the season. The Penguins have not had a great recent history in Chicago, but they were looking to change that tonight. After a close opening period, Khaira scored his first of the year just over two minutes into the 2nd period. The Penguins were buzzing in the Chicago end even more after that goal, but Jones would end up giving Chicago the 2-0 lead with his first of the season as well. It would take until the 3rd period for the Penguins to put the puck past Marc-Andre Fleury, with Jeff Carter quickly putting home a pass from Jake Guentzel. But Carter was not finished. With under five minutes remaining in regulation, Tristan Jarry made a huge breakaway save. Shortly after that, Carter buried his second goal of the game, tying things up, 2-2.
