Building a Horizontal Murphy Bed with Recessed LED Lighting - Part 3

The Murphy Bed is Done... Kind of. In this last episode we finish framing the bed support and attach the flush mount hinges and gas struts for the upper cabinets. I added an outlet and switch for the recessed LED lighting channel that really gave this a functional and cool element to the build. Overall i am happy with the ensemble, but there’s definitely more to be done. more wainscoting to give this piece an elegant modern look and a coat of stain or paint could really change the look. Ill have to wait until another time to make improvements as this piece had to come home and get put to use immediately for some guests we had staying over for the holidays.
