The famous London “Mind The Gap“ Message

This film is about the “mind the gap“ message which is broadcast at London’s underground stations which feature sharply curved platforms. The announcement warns passengers to beware the possibly large gap between the train and the platform. Mostly filmed in 1990 at London’s Embankment station, showing the northbound Northern Line platform. Additional scenes date from 2013 and were taken on both Central Line platforms at Bank station.
