Her parents decided to enroll her in Modern and Hip-hop classes at 4 years old. Soon, at 8 years of age, Kamala started strict ballet training at the Yuri Grigoriev School of Ballet. Competing and performing in competitions and yearly recitals/showings. After Kamala’s teacher, Yuri Grigoriev, passed away when she was only 15, Kamala started attending Bolshoi Ballet Academy’s summer intensives in New York. The years 2017 and 2018, Kamala was awarded 1st place at the end of the intensive and a full scholarship to train and perform for two weeks in Moscow, Russia.
