The Selfish Giant - The Complete Rock Opera - Bongo And the Point

Based on the fairy tale by Oscar Wilde from the book “The Happy Prince and Other Tales,“ this album took 3 years to write and record. Rock operas are not as popular as they once were but we think it’s a great way to tell a story. Who knows, someday, perhaps, this can be made into an animated feature. We’d love to see it. There are only the four singers in the band so we had to double up to cover all of the characters. But if you read along you can tell which character is singing at any particular time. We hope you enjoy this re-tellling as much as we enjoyed making it. We’ve done our best to remain true to Oscar Wilde’s original version. Blessings, Jim Patton
