If you have sync issues, you likely need to replace a failed capacitor inside the controller. If this is happening to your controller, you may find it hard to accept, but I had two guitars that would not sync and I fixed both of them the with same repair. Replacing a 220uF@10v capacitor shown in this video did the trick and now they sync first time with no fuse.
