Syria: Dozens killed and wounded in multiple bombings in Qamishli

At least 16 people were killed and over 30 injured after bombs were detonated in three restaurants in Qamishli, close to the Syria-Turkey border, Wednesday. The so-called Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) has claimed responsibility for the attack which targeted the city’s Kurdish and Assyrian Christian populations.
