Chinese president Xi Jinping has sent his defence minister Li Shangfu to visit Russia and Belarus despite calls from the West to isolate Russia. Li Shangfu is currently visiting the Army Day Forum in Moscow following which he will meet Russian leaders before heading to Minsk.
