Making a Wooden Laptop Case

Made from solid Birch. The lid of the case features Bubinga and Ebony inlay. The inside surface has a black felt lining. Brass hinges open the case to 93 degrees. Made for a 13,3 inch laptop. The inlay is glued in with Titebond’s liquid hide glue. Minor defects at the underside of the case are filled with dyed epoxy. Felt lining is glued with contact cement. Bubinga rims are glued with PVA glue. Finish is Osmo 1101 and beeswax.
