1982 Finds in the Falkland Islands

Archaeologists from the UK have been excavating Bennett’s Paddock site in the Falkland Islands. Their primary objective was to find evidence of a former British WW2 camp which housed the 11th Battalion of the West Yorkshire Regiment. They also found evidence of 1982 Argentine military presence.
