Hub Buster Review!

Just got my Hub Buster today, and I was hopeful it would work “as advertised“. NOPE!!! BEFORE YOU COMMENT: The tool itself is well made and very robust. Do NOT use the bolts that come with this ’re low grade garbage, that completely stripped out after a few hits. My intent was to show how it performed as advertised and the provided supplies. My recommendation is to use plenty of penetrating oil ahead of time, buy higher grade bolts and washers (if your lugs are long enough), and make sure it’s torqued down. Although it may look like I hadn’t done that, I had, but that goes back to the quality of the bolts provided. Eventually, I got it free, but I’m not confident the Hub Buster deserves much credit. I have used this tool again to replace wheel hubs on my Subaru, and in that case it did work fairly well. Ultimately it comes down to how bad the rust-weld is on your hubs.
