Today 1CGS is proud to show off the newest collector aircraft created for our Flying Circus module, the Sopwith Snipe.
We would like to thank our partner Yugra Media for all of their hard work bringing this new aircraft to life.
Production of the Snipe began in March of 1918 and it went into active service with No. 43 Squadron RAF in August 1918. Production ended in March of 1919, with a total of 1567 being built.
After WWI ended, the Snipe continued to serve in the RAF until 1926.
