Russian aircraft took off as the sun set over Hmeymim air base in Latakia, Friday, as Moscow continues its campaign against targets of the so-called Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL). Sukhoi Su-24 and Su-25s, along with other Russian aircraft could be seen taking off and landing at the air base in western Syria.
