Fugitive - Blast Furnace - Guitar Cover w/Solo (+Tabs)

Part 2 of this week-end’s Fugitive Feast, Blast Furnace from their latest single. This song really caught my ear because of its heavy punk inspiration. Another strong piece from Blake Ibanez. ❗❗Important disclaimer: I made the mistake of recording the song before I fully tabbed it, so some parts I play wrong, notably the end of the 8 bar breakdown [2:49] and the second to last riff which I played as the “normal version“ with frets 10 and 11 instead of fret 7 [4:23 - 4:33]. The tabs show the correct way to play all of it. ❗❗ This song was much harder to transcribe than you’d expect from a crossover thrash song because of Blake’s unusual use of power chords and double stops, but I hope the tabs will shed some light on how it’s truly played – as usual, many hours of watching live footage were sunk in the process!
