Thrilling SCALE CHART for improvisation over the ii-V-I Jazz Chords
In this Tutorial we’ll create a practical SCALE CHART for Jazz improvisation. We’ll walk-through thrilling musical scales that we can use on typical Jazz 7th Chords. We’ll do the ii-V-I progression in Major - and by altering the scale and sound from one chord to the next, we’ll make our jazz improvisation both thrilling and moving.
Our SCALE CHART is complete and enclosed - and we’ll find out that we can combine any of our scales to make an awesome result. At the conclusion of this jazz lesson I’ll demonstrate that, by rolling dice and playing lots of random thrilling scale progressions, all extracted from our chart.
