This show marked one of the band’s final live appearances before shifting towards studio experimentation. The core trio of Mark Hollis, Paul Webb, and Lee Harris was joined by additional musicians, including guitarist John Turnbull and percussionists Phil Reis and Leroy Williams, alongside keyboardists Ian Curnow and Rupert Black. Notably absent from the stage was Tim Friese-Greene, the band’s frequent studio collaborator, who did not perform live. The concert showcases Talk Talk at a pivotal moment, blending their accessible pop hits with more experimental sounds.
