146: GR Toys Dicraeosaurus (Green Variant) Review

I’m delighted to bring you GR Toys’ third offering – the under-represented Dicraeosaurus! The dicraeosaurids were an interesting clade of sauropods, known for smaller compact bodies, shorter necks, and bifurcated neural spines that sometimes manifested in amazing extremes. While not quite so flamboyant, Dicraeosaurus is nonetheless a significant dicraeosaurid that’s been given short shrift in terms of good models… until now. GR Toys has done this little dinosaur justice, with a sculpt and paint applications that match up to past offerings, and is as much as joy to hold as it is to look at. This is the green variant, which I preferred to the brown. I have wanted a green sauropod for a while, and this one, tending towards a yellow or gold green, is certainly a welcome addition to the family!
