How CityAir calibrates electrochemical and semiconductor sensors

CityAir develops and produces various equipment for air quality monitoring. One of our last developments is a new model of a gas analyzer designed for measuring concentrations of up to 9 gases. The gas analyzer can include up to 6 sensors and is used in conjunction with our ambient air quality monitoring station. Every sensor, either electrochemical or semiconductor, requires initial calibration after manufacturing as well as periodic calibration during its lifetime. Now we have completed testing our in-house calibration bench, which allows us to calibrate sensors across the entire range of weather parameters and environmental conditions. In this video, the head of CityAir hardware development Konstantin Kolmakov talks about the calibration process and reveals the operational principle of the calibration bench developed by his team.
