While it is often referred to as an attempted murder, the full details and motivations behind the shooting remain somewhat unclear. During the incident, armed men stormed Marley’s residence and opened fire, resulting in Marley, his wife Rita Marley, and his manager Don Taylor sustaining injuries. Marley was shot in the arm, while Rita Marley and Don Taylor suffered more severe gunshot wounds.
