On April 22, 1977, Teresa Teng held her first formal Japan concert in 新橋・ヤクルトホールにて at Yakult Hall, Shimbashi, Tokyo. Yakult Hall was established in 1972 and is located in Tokyo Head Office of Yakult. At the time, Teresa Teng had been in Japan for about 3 years, gaining fame, and her spoken Japanese was much improved.
