Indonesia’s Mount Semeru: Drone footage shows village covered by volcano ash

Drone footage taken on Wednesday December 8 captured an Indonesian village and its surrounding areas, affected by the recent eruptions of Mount Semeru, covered in mud and ash. Local residents of Curah Kobokan, one of the areas worst-hit by the eruptions, were also seen retrieving items from houses with collapsed roofs, as search and rescue teams operated in the vicinity.
