So today in Ottawa I spoke to one of the Vets, this is what he had to say. this is what the ceremony today is about. “on Elgin Street of the war memorial the national war memorial we are returning dignity to the war memorial and the remembrance of our fallen due to what happened during the Ottawa Convoy when our veterans were pulled off the monument by police and beaten simply for doing what the police and the city would not do by protecting and watching our monument instead they put a fence up and desecrated it further.”
