What if My Little Pony was cel animated?

Screwing around in aftereffects, came up with something I thought was interesting. While applying this filter is closer to the idea of 3D cel shading (find polygon/object, outline, flatten color,) the technique of painting an outline then filling it with color one frame at a time is known as Cel Animation (or Traditional Animation). This video gives an idea of what it might look like if each frame were hand-drawn, even though the filter adds in a few things that wouldn’t normally be there, like the double outline, and removes others, like the lens flares. took forever to get the right combination of “wont crash after effects, isnt terrible looking, syncs with the audio correctly“ etc. upload #2 since youtube thought it would be cool to add a bunch of artifacts and blocking to my h264 upload. edit 4/12/12 go to bed, expect nothing. get nightly’d, wake up to 40 new comments. what the hay? thanks to whoever submitted lol.
