“Impossible To Capture…” | Wagner Group Admits Facing Resistance In Bakhmut | Russia Ukraine War

Wagner Group Yevgeny Prigozhin claims that his group is facing resistance in the eastern town of Bakhmut in Ukraine. In an interview, Prigozhin said Ukrainian troops are well-trained and they are holding out though his men are aiming to claim Bakhmut soon. Wagner Group claims to have played a crucial role in capturing the town of Soledar, near Bakhmut, last month. Prigozhin appeared to slam the Russian military and told them to establish clear goals in the nearly year-old war on Ukraine. Prigozhin has harshly criticised the failings of the regular Russian army in Ukraine on a number of occasions. Prigozhin had also complained in January about “infighting, corruption, bureaucracy and officials who want to stay in their positions”. In comments aimed at the Russian military, Prigozhin also slammed what he called constant attempts to “steal victory” from Wagner.
