BREAKING: Japan issues tsunami warning after earthquakes

Japan has issued a tsunami alert and further earthquake warnings after a series of strong earthquakes hit its north-central region. The Japan Meteorological Agency reported a quake, one of them with a preliminary 7.6 magnitude, hitting Ishikawa and nearby areas. 5 meter high waves are believed to have reached the city of Noto, with 1 meter high waves reported near Wajima City on Japan’s western coast.
