The United States Rifle, Caliber .30-06, Model 1903, or the M1903 or just ’03 rifle, was adopted by the US in 1903. Developed at the US Springfield Armory, it would be the US standard service rifle through WWI on in to WWII. It is a bolt action rifle chambered for the .30-06 cartridge. Astute viewers may also notice this is specifically a Mk1 variant.
