AIKA 🌸 - Friend

On Oct. 6th of this year, I lost my best friend, Jack. Despite October being filled with music and art, my heart has been heavy since. I wrote this song to cherish the precious memories I had with him. 2018 was one of the lowest points of my life, at the time, I held a great animosity towards almost every aspect of myself for various irrational reasons. Then came one day in the midst of my misery I went and rescued Jack, abandoned on the streets by his previous family. There I realized he needed care and love just as much as I did, and since then we have created an unbreakable bond. We were by each other’s side till the end.
