Ancient Egyptian Music - Snake Queen

(Artwork: Egyptian Queen by ???) Legend has it that in the land of Kemet there lived a beautiful but dangerous queen. She could walk through a pit of cobras and emerge unscathed. She could hold an asp without it flaring its hood at her. She could run her finger along the head of any snake without aggressive reactions. The snakes would merely flick their tongues and rear up to get a better look of her. But she was not a loved queen by anybody else in Kemet. She owned her own region where nobody dared to go, only the brave or the foolish. Some say that those who venture into her territory never return. They either die or... They join her.
