The world’s first angle grinder with an asynchronous motor from SovElMash

The world’s first angle grinder with an asynchronous motor from SovElMash In the laboratory “SovElMash“ were carried out comparative operational tests of two angle grinders (angle grinders) - standard and with an asynchronous drive, created on the basis of the principle of constructing combined windings. Generally speaking, the tests showed that the angle grinder with the Duyunov motor works smoother than the machine with a standard motor - this can be seen from the rotation, the noise level, and the quality of the cutting itself. Besides: - idle speed on a standard machine is higher than on a machine with an asynchronous drive, but during load the difference between them is completely leveled; - in the version with “Slavyanka“ there are significantly fewer components, which leads to a faster cut and an increase in the service life of angle grinders (the collector and some other components often fail in the classic version of the machine); - weight and noise level of angle grinder with an asynchronous drive
