Dementor - The Extinction of Christianity [Full Demo - 1992]

Slovakia’s death metal scene is pretty overlooked, seems like no one ever mentions any of their great contributions. Hopefuly after you listen to Dementor that will change. Released as a demo, The Extinction of Christianity could easily be a full lenght. The riffs sound polished and fun to play, the drumming is great by itself, the lenght is already LP lenght, production, even if rough, is perfectly fine for an album. And the list goes on. Dementor packed 42 minutes of old school death metal right off the bat with their first demo. It has thrashy moments, has some more moodier and doomy segments, goes full OSDM when it needs to. Absolutely overlooked piece of music.
