Mindbender: Crunchy Bassline

Andrew demonstrates a crunchy bassline on the Deathbender, which is a one-off custom Mindbender. Mindbenders are a revolutionary new patented musical instrument, provided by MEGACORP and Blindworm Guitars. Brains are capable of processing vast amounts of information without even realizing. This is possibly why I love the Mindbender so much. It works in a completely unconventional way. There is no math to learn, no fretboard logic. No visual cues are necessary, or even effective. The Mindbender simply works by pairing the string tension you feel, to the pitch you hear in your brain. The connection is made naturally through practice as your fingers’ muscle memory associates that tension to the pitch it makes. The string sets are custom designed with DR Strings, and give each string course over an octave range. You can play scales and notes, you can also not. You can bend frequencies creating binaural beating. You can bend a pinch harmonic. Or make it talk. You can be percussive. You can bend multiple notes in opposite ways. It has a range from a low bass string to the highest guitar string note. The versatility live and in the studio is in a class of its own.
