Learn How to Paint DUCKS IN A ROW with Acrylic - Paint & Sip at Home - Animal Step by Step Tutorial
VIDEO DESCRIPTION - This painting tutorial will take you through easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions on how to draw and paint this adorable animal portrait and tranquil landscape image of “DUCKS IN A ROW“ with acrylic paint. You’ll learn simple drawing and painting techniques that will help you to create this touching and inspirational springtime image with a proud mamma duck leading her cute little offspring on a peaceful journey across the clear water on a warm and bright day. This familiar and family-oriented image of baby ducklings all lined up in a row following their mother is a moment in time that will capture the hearts of everyone. With their soft fluffy feathers, sparkly eyes, tiny beaks, and sweet facial expressions, these younglings are curious and excited to know where their mom is leading them, whether it’s to find lunch, heading back home, or just out and about for a little exercise. With its calm water and soft reflections, this simplistic nature scene depicting several delightfully tiny, charming mallards all in succession behind their maternal protector captures both the tenderness and strength of motherhood. Symbolizing family, love, intuition, nurturing, protection, feelings, self-expression, adaptation, grace, and strength, ducks represent emotions and values important to everyone. During this acrylic painting tutorial, you’ll learn how to create a dramatic scene with natural movement in the water using color theory and blending to guide you through a soft gradient of colors as you develop the ripples. When painting the water, you’ll come to use carefree impressionistic brushstrokes to create texture and dimension. You’ll also learn how to create dimension in the shape of the bird’s bodies and faces with a simple layering technique to create contour highlights and shadows that will define the small details in the feathers, eyes and beaks. Use your imagination and customize your painting in any way you want; add another parent duck, a rubber duckie or a few more chicks, bring in some blue and green to the water to resemble an ocean, lake or pond, or put your favorite flower floating next to these synchronized swimmers, whether it’s a lotus, rose, or lily, or, perhaps, paint different types of birds altogether and change them into swans, geese, or flamingos. You could even change the season to winter or fall by adding fallen leaves to the water or snowflakes in the air. Just have fun with it! With the enchanting narrative storybook fairytale that this painting represents, you’ll be able to paint this image that will be a little magical and realistic at the same time, making for a beautiful painting to decorate your home all year long with. You’ll have fun painting it and you’ll learn some valuable lessons along the way that you can utilize in future work. Let this painting symbolize a maternal instinct, devotion, loving relationships, courtship, and monogamy above everything. Using only 3 brushes and 6 colors we’ll create this conversational masterpiece with a beautiful sentimental endearing family relationship. So, let’s get painting and let’s get sipping!
