How English teachers can benefit from my TED speaking clubs(international networking, personal brand)
Hello, hello, beautiful people!
My name is Tina Turovinina, and I am an Engl teacher, a coach and a speaking club founder.
A lot of people ask me. Tina, I am an English teacher – do you know if anyone is looking for one?
My platform is your chance to find the right contact and eventually land a job. If you aren`t looking for a job, then you sure are in need of new students – and you can find them in my community as well. Solutions aren`t always on the surface. Sometimes, a friend of a friend can help you better, than your bosom friend.
Here are the main reasons why every good English teacher should attend my TED based speaking clubs:
1. Themed sessions help people get to know you in discussions. One day their friend is going to be looking for a teacher – and they will have you in mind. For this to happen, you need to know what kind of teacher are you, what students do you need and what sort of lesson would you like to give
2. It saves you time and money on searching for students elsewhere.
3. You maintain and improve your own conversational English.
Sounds great , right?
Moreover, When you tell your students to attend my speaking clubs, they will be spreading the word about how good you are as a teacher. Word of mouth in action and you can accelerate it!
___________________________________________________________________________
LAUNCH DAY: 8th of August! We start on the 2nd week of August, and our first topic is:
-about being productive and how boredom leads to brilliant ideas
-correlation of productivity and success
-life and work balance in action. How to find your own ratio?
FOR WHOM: it doesn`t matter whether you are learning the language or born a native Engl. speaker.
Life quality topics apply to all of us and it is something we all have in common, regardless. Apart from reflecting on things that make your tomorrow better, you get to make new friends and acquaintances among the kindest, most open minded and respectful professionals I have ever met in my life (I am serious).
FORMAT: 60 min, 2 times a week (zoom) Big and small group discussions. Every week we have a new topic directly related to your quality of life and look at it from 2 angles.
Before the session, you will have watched a short video and during the speaking club we might rewatch some small bits and pieces - but not longer than 10 min.
Tuesday / Thursday 11 am (GMT 3)
Wednesday / Friday 7 pm (GMT 3)
NETWORKING: there is a secret google document (by the way, to join you need to have a google account) that is inspired by the 6 handshakes rule (or 6 degrees of separation rule). This document saves you hours (if not days) on searching for the right contact, advice and really anything.
I can guarantee that you can find what you are looking for, if you set a specific goal and are focused on it. Consistency in attending the speaking club is also a big factor: the longer you attend, the better people remember you and start to like you. The longer you are a part of TED based speaking clubs, the more people know you and when they need someone with your knowledge and skills - guess what? You are the one they write to.
PRICE: 10 $ for 10 and more sessions, 15 $ for one
For people who purchase 20 and more sessions - there is a customer loyalty program, where you earn points and pay with them!
PAYMENT OPTIONS: contact me @ and tell me your preferable payment option, I will do my best to make it convinient for you.
JOIN ME on telegram and become part of something bigger, than us.
Help me fight discrimination against other cultures by attending my sessions and helping people get to know you and your culture firsthand.
In the comments below - please, write if there are any questions about the format or content of the speaking club:)
