PMV Busted Heart (Hold On to Me) - for KING & COUNTRY
Hello everyone,
I am back with a PMV of all things! You know, I just finished editing a video I was going to post about why I was going to stop making MLP and LPS videos. God had other plans. I originally made a PMV to this song years ago but wasn’t 100% happy with the ending and it never made it to YouTube... until now.
2 weeks ago I started my Senior Year of Film School. I worked hard all summer on a movie I was hoping to make for my Sr. Project this summer. This was going to be my calling card to help me get a job out of school but most importantly spread God’s truth to a lot of people. I spent lots of time in prayer and my request shifted last month to “God, tell the story You want to tell through me with this film.“ When the time came to pitch my idea my prayer became, “God help me to handle whatever the outcome is.“ My teacher told me I had done everything right to prepare for my film. Unfortunately, it was not to be made this fall. I was devasted and I could tell my teacher’s heart broke for me as well. However, there is more than one way to make a film and my hard work will bear forth fruit. I told God to tell the story He wanted to tell. That includes in His timing, which is perfect, just not now. That’s really all I can say about it for now. I understood the reasons why and I can see the path ahead and it’s going to be amazing. However, that doesn’t take away the pain I felt in that moment. That doesn’t change the fact that I spent most of that day crying. That’s okay. This video is a reflection of how I feel. I am sure some of you have felt this way at some point and it sucks. In the moment my heart is broken because plans get changed, I want God to hold and guide me. In the moment I am successful and get a chance to tell about Him through film, I want God to hold and guide me. I know God has a plan and I can’t wait to see where my last year of film school takes me.
Since I have the desire to make MLP and LPS videos again, if you have any music video requests feel free to leave them here. I’m not sure how much time I’ll have this year but since its been awhile I wanted to offer that to you.
I hope all your lives are going well. If you are now an adult like me, I want you to know that this is almost harder than high school. God has a plan for you too. Find the spark of talent he gave you and go pursue it to bring glory to Him. We got this together!
“I cried out to God for help; I cried out to God to hear me.“ - Psalm 77:1
God bless you!
