Ayu - Akita Inu (adolescent) - Tricks (mental work, bonding, still learning) - Part 1

A short video of my wife and Ayu H’Mitsuki Go in the beginning of learning/teaching commands and tricks. Please note: Not every dog likes learning tricks / commands and there are days when they’re not feeling like it at all or just can’t focus so well. Same with people- we have bad days, too, right? You need to find out what motivates your dog. In the beginning, treats can be very useful but later, you’ll be able to leave them out and just praise them with words. In this video, we trained already a couple of minutes before filming. So, she’s already a bit tired. Mitsuki’s just 6 months old, still a youngster --- Keep in mind, that Akitas are considered adults when being 3 years old and not - like lots of other dog breeds - way earlier --- and far away from remembering everything perfectly, but in our humble opinion, she’s doing really well and she’s a real sweetheart.
